Disney Removes Thread After Users Flood It with Anti-Fascist Movie Quotes

“Share a Disney quote that sums up how you’re feeling right now!”

This was the prompt that sparked a wave of responses on Threads, with fans quoting everything from Star Wars to The Hunchback of Notre Dame and even Mary Poppins. The common thread among these quotes? A strong anti-fascist sentiment that seemed to take aim at the current political climate.

However, it seems Disney wasn’t ready to embrace the bold messaging from its own films, as the post was swiftly taken down, likely to avoid ruffling any feathers with those in power. Fortunately, a clever user on Threads managed to capture the moment, serving as a reminder that the state of the world is indeed chaotic.
