Dive into the Darkrai-themed Pitch Black set now available in Pokémon TCG Live!

The latest Pokémon set is making waves not just in stores but also on mobile and PC. The Darkrai-themed collection has launched in Pokémon TCG Live, the digital version of the card game that many collectors often overlook. It’s a great addition for those spending the day opening physical Pitch Black booster packs, as each pack comes with a redeemable code for the online game.

To celebrate the release, TCG Live has introduced a fresh color scheme for its battle board. Players who log in will receive a Mega Darkrai ex deck along with three new tutorials designed to help them utilize the new cards effectively. In total, there are 115 new cards to collect.

Fans can also unlock a new Pitch Black accessory or purchase cosmetics like the Mega Chandelure hat and shirt from the shop. As players progress through the new Battle Pass, they will eventually gain access to the Mega Chandelure ex deck. Additionally, a cheat sheet created by the developers is available to assist players with the Battle Pass.

In addition to the new cards, TCG Live is rolling out several quality-of-life improvements. The Deck Editor has been enhanced with filters for rarity and regulation, plus a button to verify deck validity across different game modes. This aims to streamline and enhance the deck-building experience.

With the new season comes a rank reset, but also a host of new rewards to earn, including the coveted Master Ball. The developers have hinted at upcoming events related to the expansion.

“And lastly, when you tap on a card in the Deck Collection or Deck Panel, the selected card is highlighted,” the announcement notes.

In short, there are plenty of reasons to dive into TCG Live right now, especially for Pokémon fans who may have had trouble finding products at retail this Friday.

The RPG will continue to feature turn-based battles, but they are expected to unfold in a new way.
