Dyson PencilWash Hits Record Low Price for Prime Day

Dyson’s PencilWash cordless hard floor cleaner is currently available for $199.99, marking a $150 discount. This is the best price we’ve seen for this powered wet mop, which is a sibling to the quirky yet impressive Dyson PencilVac Fluffycones vacuum.

The PencilWash takes the sleek design of the PencilVac and refines it into a dedicated electric mop. It’s built to tackle various hard flooring types, featuring a slim head and a pivoting neck that allows it to slide under furniture with ease. Dyson claims it offers up to 30 minutes of cleaning time before needing a recharge on the included dock, and its 300ml water tank can cover approximately 1,000 square feet before requiring a refill.

While the name may sound playful and the mop has a stylish appearance, it’s worth noting that it weighs around five pounds (which is heavier than the PencilVac) before you add any water or cleaning solution. However, its self-propelling brush is designed to help maneuver that weight around your home without much strain on your hands—unless you’re tackling stairs.

At $200, it’s not the cheapest option for a single-purpose cleaning tool (especially considering its original price of $350), but it’s significantly more affordable than the $600 PencilVac Fluffycones. The PencilWash serves as a perfect sidekick to your robot vacuum, enhancing your cleaning arsenal.
