Epic users can grab two thrilling murder mystery games for free, but only for a short time!

This week, gamers who love a good mystery are in for a treat with the free offerings on the Epic Games Store. For a limited time, you can snag two intriguing mystery titles: *Nobody Wants to Die* and *The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark*. *Nobody Wants to Die* plunges you into a noir murder mystery set in a futuristic cyberpunk universe. In this world, people have achieved a form of immortality by transferring their consciousness between bodies. You step into the shoes of Detective James Karra, who is on the trail of a serial killer targeting these immortal citizens by obliterating their physical forms. As Karra, you’ll reconstruct crime scenes and gather clues to uncover the identity of the killer while navigating the harsh realities of a deeply unequal society. On the lighter side, *The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark* offers a comedic twist on the detective genre. This retro-styled point-and-click adventure invites you to solve nine supernatural cases in Twin Lakes, humorously dubbed “America’s 34th most haunted city.” You play as Detective Francis McQueen, and if the title rings a bell, it’s likely because the first game in the series was offered for free not long ago. *A Fumble in the Dark* also features a quirky “mail-in rebate per customer on exorcism services for hauntings resulting from play,” just in case you encounter any pesky spirits during your investigations. To grab *Nobody Wants to Die* or *The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark* for free, simply log in to the Epic Games Store and claim them before they disappear on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 11 a.m. EST.
