Essential New Pokémon Game for Every Eevee Enthusiast
With eight official Eeveelutions, fans of this beloved normal-type Pokémon have plenty of choices, yet they often feel overlooked. It’s been 13 years since a new Eevee evolution was introduced in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. With 18 standard Pokémon types available, we haven’t even scratched the surface of potential Eeveelution concepts. Just imagine the possibilities if the developers started mixing Eeveelution types!
While Pokémon Winds and Waves might bring a new Eevee into the fold, that release seems far off. Instead of waiting for something that may never happen, Eevee enthusiasts can dive into a new fan game called Pokémon Oops! All Eevees.
Despite its playful title, this fan game offers much more than a simple gimmick. Every Pokémon in the game has been swapped out for an Eeveelution, but creator 999999999 has also crafted a variety of original Eevee designs. Players can encounter a ghost-type Eevee named Fanteon, a flying-type called Aeraerieon, and a fighting-type evolution known as Aercampeon, among others. The game isn’t shy about revisiting existing Eeveelution types, either, as many of these new designs come with their own evolution lines.
In total, Oops! All Eevees boasts an impressive 326 Eeveelutions within the base Pokémon FireRed game. A video showcasing all the available monsters in this fan project runs nearly 40 minutes long.
All existing Eeveelutions feature expanded movesets, and the game generously provides Rare Candies for those looking to bypass the grind. There’s also a completely new endgame that promises to “put your knowledge of Eevees to the test.” If that’s not enough, the fan game allows players to don trainer outfits resembling Eeveelutions and even includes a way to “evolve” your character.
While the core game is already available, the developer isn’t finished yet. An update is planned for November 21, coinciding with Eevee Day in Japan, which will add more Pokédex entries and additional overworld sprites.
In the meantime, there’s plenty to keep Eevee fans engaged. The developer has teased on social media that “Surely there aren’t any secret Eevees located anywhere, like under the Truck or in Cerulean Cave.” In another post, they hinted at an “Eevee god” that embodies every elemental type at once—and it’s not the final boss!
So far, the response from fans has been overwhelmingly positive. One player described Oops! All Eevees as “everything I’ve ever wanted,” while others are already creating fan art inspired by the game.
