Exciting New Dimension 20 Sequel Season Confirmed with Beloved Players Coming Back

The Intrepid Heroes are back in action! Dimension 20’s Toylight campaign wrapped up last week, but fans won’t have to wait long for more adventures. On Tuesday, it was announced that the next season of Dimension 20 will be A Starstruck Odyssey season 2, set to kick off next year.

A Starstruck Odyssey originally launched in 2022 and was the first campaign to explore a pre-existing universe. This setting is part of the Starstruck universe, which includes a 1980 play and a comic series penned by Elaine Lee, who is also the mother of Brennan Lee Mulligan. While specific plot details are still under wraps, we do know the cast for A Starstruck Odyssey season 2.

Dimension 20 has seen over 20 players step into the dome, from Critical Role’s Matthew Mercer to Ghost of Yōtei star Erika Ishii, along with regulars like Jacob Wysocki and Vic Michaelis. However, none have teamed up with the long-time dungeon master Mulligan more than the Intrepid Heroes: Emily Axford, Ally Beardsley, Brian Murphy, Zac Oyama, Siobhan Thompson, and Lou Wilson. Season 2 of A Starstruck Odyssey will mark the third consecutive campaign featuring the Intrepid Heroes.

The new season is set to begin sometime in 2027, though the episode count is still unknown. The first season of A Starstruck Odyssey ran for 18 episodes, and you can catch up or dive in for the first time on YouTube, as the Dimension 20 channel will be releasing episodes weekly starting today.

This year has been monumental for Dropout, with Dimension 20 playing a significant role through campaigns like Gladlands, City Council of Darkness, and Toylight. Dropout has also expanded its offerings with original and licensed animation, successfully launched a Kickstarter for a Game Changer at-home game, introduced a quirky puppet show, released its flagship series Game Changer on disc, announced its first live-action scripted series in years, and experimented with various Make Some Noise hosts.
