Exciting News: A New Lego City Builder Game is on the Way!

During the recent Gamescom Opening Night Live event, a long-awaited title was unveiled with a quick trailer. Finally, a Lego city builder is on the way!

On Tuesday, it was announced that Lego Skylines is in development, a city-building game featuring the beloved tiny plastic bricks that many of us adore.

The official description of this game, which I wish had been showcased more extensively instead of just a brief teaser, is as follows:

The concept of a Lego city-builder is incredibly exciting for me. I’ve always enjoyed spending hours designing streets and businesses with maximum efficiency. The chance to do this with digital Lego bricks and minifigs feels like a dream come true.

While no release date has been announced for Lego Skylines, which is a spin-off of the Cities: Skylines franchise, I’m ready to dive in on day one and lose myself in building Lego cities. Plus, it’ll be a lot more affordable than purchasing thousands of physical Lego bricks for a massive tabletop city, and I won’t have to sacrifice my basement space either.
