Expect a price hike for the entire Pixel lineup this year.

Google’s upcoming Pixel lineup is expected to see a price hike compared to last year’s models. A report indicates that the starting price for the 41mm Pixel Watch 5 could rise to $399, with the addition of LTE potentially pushing it to $499. This marks a $50 increase from the base Pixel Watch 4, which starts at $349 for Wi-Fi and $449 for LTE. The larger 45mm Pixel Watch 5 is rumored to be priced at $429 for Wi-Fi only, or $529 with LTE, reflecting a $30 increase from the previous generation.

In another report, potential European pricing for the Pixel 11 suggests that Google might eliminate the lowest 128GB storage option, raising the starting price to €999 for the 256GB model, while the Pixel 11 Pro could begin at €1,199. Last year’s base Pixel 10 model was priced at €899 for 128GB, and the Pixel 10 Pro started at €1,099. While the starting prices for both devices may rise, the cost for the 256GB configuration is expected to remain unchanged.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold might see a €100 increase, setting their starting prices at €1,399 and €1,999, respectively. These anticipated price adjustments are not surprising, as manufacturers across various sectors are facing a global shortage of memory and storage due to heightened demand from AI companies.

Many companies have already increased their device prices or eliminated certain memory or storage options. There are also rumors that the Pixel 11 could come with 8GB of RAM instead of last year’s 12GB due to this shortage.

Google is set to unveil its new Pixel devices at a launch event on August 12th.
