Facebook Marketplace is rolling out a suite of new AI-driven features designed to streamline the selling experience. One standout addition is an auto-reply function powered by Meta AI, which will handle those repetitive “Is this still available?” inquiries. When setting up a listing, you can enable this feature, allowing the AI to generate a customizable response to availability questions. For instance, the AI might respond with, “Yes, it’s still available. Do you have any questions?”

In addition to enhancing communication, Facebook Marketplace is also working to simplify the listing process. Meta AI can analyze your item’s photos to automatically populate details and suggest a competitive price based on similar items in your area.

Moreover, the platform has introduced an updated shipping menu and new AI-generated summaries for seller profiles. These summaries provide potential buyers with insights into your Facebook account history, including how long you’ve been a member, your friend count, and a snapshot of your Marketplace activity, such as the types of items you sell and your seller rating.
