Uma Thurman solidified her status as a legend with her role as the fierce antihero Beatrix Kiddo in Kill Bill, and now she’s channeling that intensity into a new thriller as an ex-ballerina on the hunt for the next generation of dancers in the first look at Prime Video’s upcoming film, Pretty Lethal.

The film follows Thurman’s character, Devora Kasimir, a former ballet dancer turned innkeeper, who turns a chance encounter with younger ballerinas into a chilling and violent game of cat and mouse.

In the images, Thurman appears completely unhinged as Devora, terrorizing and seemingly eliminating the blood-soaked ballerinas who must fight for their lives. The cast also includes Iris Apatow, Lana Condor, Millicent Simmonds, Avantika, Maddie Ziegler, Michael Culkin, and Lydia Leonard.

Here’s the official logline for Pretty Lethal: “An action-packed thriller where five ballerinas, en route to a prestigious dance competition, find themselves barely on speaking terms when their bus breaks down in a remote forest. With no other options, they reluctantly seek refuge at a creepy roadside inn run by Devora Kasimer (Uma Thurman), a reclusive former ballet prodigy. From the moment they arrive, something feels off – and their instincts prove correct. As the situation turns deadly, the fractured group must put aside their rivalries and utilize years of rigorous training, transforming grace, discipline, and even pointe shoes into weapons for survival.”
