Fortnite Leak Hints at Upcoming Kingdom Hearts Collaboration
Fortnite has pulled off some remarkable collaborations and crossover events, bringing together characters from rival franchises in a way that seemed impossible. This unique approach allows iconic figures to join forces or clash on the Battle Royale island, creating unforgettable moments.
Characters from a multitude of franchises have made their way into Fortnite, and it looks like Epic Games isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Recent leaks suggest that one of the most anticipated franchises, Kingdom Hearts, the beloved RPG series from Square Enix and Disney, is set to join the fray.
Rumors indicate that the upcoming season of Fortnite will embrace a video game theme. Following the final update of Chapter 7 Season 3, data miners explored the game files and discovered a series of intriguing posters featuring various video game franchises. These posters showcased classic titles like Mega Man, Pac-Man, Tetris, and Sonic. Notably, they were found alongside assets for the upcoming season finale event, leading fans to speculate that Chapter 7 Season 4 will be titled “Gaming Legends.”
Adding to the excitement, a familiar gaming tune can be heard in Fortnite, further supporting the leaks about the upcoming gaming-themed season.
In addition to the retro games highlighted in the posters, players are hopeful that other franchises, including Persona and Kingdom Hearts, will also make their debut in Fortnite’s Gaming Legends season. The arrival of Kingdom Hearts may be closer than anticipated, as leakers have recently discovered themed cosmetics within the Rocket League game files. Given that Rocket League and Fortnite are both under the Epic Games umbrella, players can expect to receive vehicle cosmetics in both titles.
One of the leaked Octane decals appears to be inspired by Sora’s outfit from the original Kingdom Hearts, which debuted in 2002 and is now considered a retro classic. This aligns perfectly with the anticipated theme for the next season.
