Fortnite Streamlines Sprite Collection for Players
Chapter 7 Season 3 is wrapping up, paving the way for a fresh season of Fortnite. Before iconic characters like Sonic join the fray, players need to tie up loose ends this season, particularly by completing the Fortnite Runners Sprite collection.
While there are 25 base Sprites to track down, several rare variants complicate the collection process. The most effective strategy is to participate in specific Sprite Hour events and play Fortnite during those times to snag any missing Sprites.
To help players avoid missing out, Fortnite is launching a major Sprite Spree Week featuring multiple Sprite Hour events, offering one last opportunity to collect any undiscovered Sprites. Sprites collected in Season 3 will carry over into the next season, joining the Sprite Garden alongside new additions. However, there’s no assurance that these Sprites will be available on the Battle Royale island later, as many will be vaulted with the arrival of Chapter 7 Season 4. Thus, players should seize the chance during Sprite Spree Week to secure all variants before they disappear.
Sprite Spree Week kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 2 p.m. EDT, coinciding with the launch of the Unstable Event. Each day, a specific type of Sprite will have an increased spawn rate on the map starting at 9 a.m. EDT.
Throughout the event, players will benefit from various boosts. XP gain for equipped Sprites will be enhanced, making it easier to level them up. Sprite Spree Quests will also be available, providing opportunities to earn rare Sprites like the John Wick Sprite and the Gem Zero Point Sprite. Additionally, players will receive extra Lucky Locators and can resummon Sprites without using any Sprite Dust.
