Fortnite Winterfest 2025: Complete Quest Guide and Rewards Overview

Fortnite has kicked off its latest Winterfest celebration, bringing a fresh wave of map and gameplay tweaks in Battle Royale, along with a treasure trove of free goodies in the Winterfest cabin. But there’s more to dive into with this update—two new sets of quests that offer XP rewards and a special free cosmetic that you can snag by completing one of these quests. Let’s break down what’s in store.

**Winterfest 2025 Quests**
The first batch of quests, found under the Winterfest section in your quest log, is tailored for Battle Royale. This set features four groups of quests that will be released in a staggered fashion, with the first group available now and new ones dropping every two days until the set is complete. Each quest completed nets you 12K XP, and there might be a reward waiting at the end of the questline, though details are still under wraps. Keep in mind that these quests will vanish when Winterfest wraps up on January 5.

**Drop 1**
– **Collect a Perfect Gift from a chest**: Every chest you crack open during Winterfest has a chance to yield a Perfect Gift, which triggers a quest to deliver it to any friendly NPC on the map within five minutes. For this quest, you only need to collect the item, and the Perfect Gift won’t take up any of your inventory slots.
– **Bring a Perfect Gift to any character**: This task requires you to hand over one of those Perfect Gifts to an NPC. Any NPC will do, so choose the one that’s easiest to reach.
– **Damage Yule Trooper or any other boss (500 points)**: You’ll need to deal 500 points of damage to any boss NPC for this quest. Just a heads up—players disguised as bosses using a boss token don’t count for this challenge.

**Squad Up! Quests**
Alongside the main Winterfest quests, there’s a simpler set of quests that task you with finding Shiny Llamas in the Squads mode of Battle Royale, Reload, OG, or Blitz. These Shiny Llamas can randomly drop when you open a rare chest or supply drop, or when you take down an enemy player or NPC. You’ll earn 12K XP for every 100 Shiny Llamas you collect, up to a total of 1,000. The good news is that you won’t have to fight your teammates for them; any Shiny Llamas collected by any squad member count towards the total for the whole team. Plus, there’s a cosmetic reward tied to these quests. Collecting 400 Shiny Llamas will unlock the Starbrite Slasher pickaxe, which has been lurking in the Fortnite game files for nearly two years. If you picked up the Lego starter pack that includes the Brite Agent skin, this is your chance to finally grab the pickaxe that belongs to her set.
