Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition Priced at $120, Lacks Complete DLC Access
Forza Horizon 6 made a stunning impression during the recent Xbox Developer Direct, showcasing a breathtaking rendition of Japan along with some clever updates to its progression system. However, if you’re planning to dive in, be prepared for a significant price increase compared to its predecessor.
The standard edition of Forza Horizon 6 is priced at $70, which is a $10 jump from the $60 launch price of Forza Horizon 5 back in 2021. The Deluxe Edition sees an even steeper rise, now costing $100 instead of the previous $80. This version includes a Car Pass featuring a variety of extra vehicles, similar to what was offered in the fifth installment, but also adds a Welcome Pack that comes with five pre-tuned cars, a complimentary player house, and some extra perks.
The Premium Edition takes things even further, priced at $120, marking a notable increase from the $100 Premium version of the last game. Premium buyers can look forward to VIP membership, additional car packs, and access to two major expansions, along with four days of early access before the May 19 release date.
However, it’s important to pay attention to the fine print on Steam: “Any additional content including (but not limited to) Car Packs is not included in the Deluxe or Premium Editions or in the Premium Upgrade. Cars featured in any other DLC Car Packs are not included with the VIP Membership or Car Pass.” This has been a consistent theme in previous Forza Horizon titles, but the price hike makes it feel a bit more impactful this time around.
