Forza Horizon 6 Release Date Possibly Revealed Before Upcoming Developer Direct

Forza Horizon 6 is set to be a highlight in an upcoming Developer Direct livestream from Xbox, and it seems the release date may have been revealed ahead of schedule. Leaks suggest that Forza Horizon 6 is slated to launch on May 19, with the Premium Edition allowing players to get a head start on May 15. An image circulating online, allegedly from an in-game announcement in Forza Horizon 5, outlines the release date and details about the Premium Edition’s DLC. Additional sources have confirmed that this release date is accurate. The Premium Edition is expected to include early access, VIP membership, car packs, an exclusive Ferrari, and post-launch car pack DLC.

Forza Horizon 6 was officially announced prior to the Xbox showcase at last year’s Tokyo Game Show, and this new installment will take the Horizon Festival to Japan. It will debut on PC and Xbox Series X|S, with a PS5 release to follow. Forza Horizon 5 had a successful run on PS5, selling over 5.1 million units. Meanwhile, the outlook for Forza Motorsport isn’t as bright, as developer Turn 10 Studios revealed late last year that they would cease development of new content for the game. While the servers will remain active, there will be no new cars, tracks, features, or regular bug fixes moving forward.
