Game Freak’s Beast of Reincarnation Allegedly Leaked by Pirates Ahead of Launch

Beast of Reincarnation, the upcoming action RPG from Game Freak, is set to launch on August 4 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and Steam. However, it seems that the game has already leaked online, with reports of pirates playing it ahead of its official release.

This information has surfaced from various piracy-focused communities, including discussions on Discord and subreddits dedicated to the topic. The exact method by which repackers obtained the game three days early remains unclear, but speculation points to preloading on Steam as a possible avenue.

On a positive note, some players who have reportedly accessed Beast of Reincarnation have shared that it runs quite well. One user playing on the ROG Ally X handheld mentioned, “Intro area runs at around 30-40fps on medium settings at 1080p. Didn’t drop below 30fps so far. No shader compilation at the start, and I didn’t encounter any stutters. It looks great! Good soundtrack too.”

Conversely, another player expressed dissatisfaction with the PC performance, stating, “Game is running like garbage. 70-80fps average with DLSS ultra quality at 4K max settings on a 9800x3d and 5070ti. No frame generation option.”

While a stable 60FPS at 4K sounds appealing, it’s wise to take these performance impressions with a grain of salt, given that they stem from a pirated version of the game.

Beast of Reincarnation isn’t alone in this early leak trend; several other major titles, such as Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Forza Horizon 6, and Subnautica 2, have also been cracked and made available before their official launch dates this year.

As of now, neither Game Freak nor the publisher has provided an official statement regarding the leak.
