Google Allows Influencers to Personalize Their Search Result Pages

Google has rolled out a new feature allowing prominent creators and publishers in the US to establish dedicated profiles in Search, showcasing their videos, articles, and other online presences. However, this option is exclusive to those who meet specific criteria: a minimum of 100,000 YouTube subscribers, 100,000 followers on Instagram or X, or 300,000 followers on TikTok. Additionally, users must be at least 18 years old to create a Search profile.

In demonstration videos, Google illustrates how these profiles can include links to various websites and platforms, a brief summary of the individual or brand, pinned content from TikTok and Instagram, and a feed that aggregates posts from multiple sources.

While Google already features knowledge panels for notable figures and publications, these new profiles provide enhanced control over displayed content. They also serve as an alternative to existing link-in-bio services like Linktree, allowing creators to consolidate their online identities in one convenient location.
