GTA 6’s Launch Trailer Hints at Provocative Content
With just 35 days to go until the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6, Rockstar is ramping up excitement with an official trailer. This sneak peek offers a fresh perspective on the Florida-inspired state of Leonida and dives into the story of Jason and Lucia, showcasing some intense moments between the two characters.
In the trailer, we see Jason receiving a call from Lucia while he’s in prison, where he reveals he was discharged from the Army early for reasons that remain unclear. The footage teases a variety of heists, some featuring high-tech gear that wouldn’t feel out of place in a Call of Duty title.
Though the trailer is just a minute and a half long, it also includes quick glimpses of intimate interactions between Jason and Lucia. They share a shower, exchange kisses, and push against the bathroom wall, revealing that Lucia is still wearing an ankle monitor. While it’s not as provocative as some leaked footage showing the couple in the nude, it’s uncertain whether the actual gameplay will reflect those leaks. In that unauthorized footage, Jason and Lucia roam the city completely unclothed, complete with jiggle physics, yet NPCs seem oblivious to their state, leading to speculation that the leaker was using developer tools to showcase nudity.
The game is confirmed to include nudity, and ratings indicate that GTA 6 will feature sex scenes, although it appears these moments are framed to avoid showing the characters’ private areas.
Additionally, Rockstar has announced that the trailer’s soundtrack will feature the debut of “Flower in a Hurricane,” an original track by Justice, alongside contributions from artists like Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Players have already been given a taste of the open-world game’s radio stations.
GTA 6 is set to launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
