GTA VI to Feature In-Game Podcasts and Six Radio Stations

Music has always played a crucial role in the Grand Theft Auto series, and GTA VI is set to deliver the most extensive and diverse selection of in-game radio stations yet. Players can look forward to at least six radio stations to enjoy while cruising in vehicles or exploring on foot. The lineup includes Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM, and Dirty South Classics, offering everything from talk shows to classic rock.

You can get a taste of these stations on Rockstar’s website, which also features six singles from the official soundtrack announced earlier this month, showcasing artists like Yung Lean and Travis Scott.

But the audio experience doesn’t stop at music. For the first time, Grand Theft Auto VI will introduce a series of on-demand podcasts. This means players can tune in to fictional podcasters sharing their takes on imaginary events while driving through the vibrant world of Leonida (a fictional Florida). This addition highlights Rockstar’s commitment to realism, as seen in Netflix’s extended preview of GTA VI, which also reveals features like hand-holding mechanics and police NPCs that remember your character’s appearance. Additionally, a recent leak has unveiled some more intimate details about the two main characters. Grand Theft Auto VI is available for preorder now and is set to launch on November 19th.
