Hazbin Hotel Confirmed for Fifth and Final Season, Even Without Season 3 Premiere Date

Fans of Hazbin Hotel are buzzing with anticipation for Season 3, but there’s a bittersweet twist: the show is set to conclude after its fifth season. Fortunately, that finale is still a ways off, as the newly announced fifth season will be the last to air.

At the LVL UP Expo on April 24, Spindlehorse and Prime Video dropped a teaser for Season 5, blending clips from the series with the announcement of a “fifth and final” season. While the teaser is short and doesn’t give away much about the show’s future, it’s an exciting confirmation for fans.

Since its viral YouTube pilot featuring the princess of Hell in 2019, Hazbin Hotel has built a dedicated fanbase. The first season of this musical adult animated series premiered on Prime Video in 2024, followed by a second season in 2025. Prior to this announcement, Seasons 3 and 4 had already been confirmed, and Spindlehorse expressed their vision for a five-season journey for the show. Now, fans can look forward to that promise being fulfilled, even if the exact timeline remains unclear.

Commenters on the YouTube announcement video expressed their excitement for more Hazbin Hotel, though there was some confusion regarding the release dates for the upcoming seasons. While Season 3 of the spin-off Helluva Boss was confirmed to kick off this fall at LVL UP Expo, no such announcement was made for the next season of Hazbin Hotel.

There was about a year and eight months between the first and second seasons, with Season 2 wrapping up in November 2025. Whenever the final season of Hazbin Hotel arrives, it will be available for streaming on Prime Video, just like the rest of the series.
