iPhone Users Can Now File Claims in $250 Million Siri AI Settlement

Apple is set to pay $250 million to resolve claims regarding its failure to deliver an AI-enhanced Siri, and eligible iPhone users can now file for compensation. If you’re in the US and bought an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, or any iPhone 16 model between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025, you can submit a claim on the settlement website.

You could receive around $25 for each eligible device, with the potential for that amount to rise to $95 depending on the number of claims submitted. To file your claim, you’ll need to provide your name, contact details, and the serial number of your iPhone on the settlement site before the deadline of December 21, 2026.

The class action lawsuit claimed that Apple set a “clear and reasonable consumer expectation” that new AI features showcased during WWDC 2024 would be available with the iPhone 16. However, the iPhone 16 was released with a more limited feature set, despite being marketed as “built for Apple Intelligence.” The rollout of the AI-enhanced Siri was delayed and only became available with iOS 27 earlier this month. Apple has denied any wrongdoing.
