Jason Momoa’s Lobo Unleashed in Exciting New Supergirl Clip

We recently got a sneak peek of Jason Momoa’s Lobo in the first teaser for DC Studios’ upcoming film, Supergirl. Now, a new clip has fully unveiled the character, showcasing all the classic Lobo traits, including his menacing space motorcycle and signature chain hook.

In the comics, Lobo is dubbed the “Last Czarnian,” the sole survivor of his race, which gives him a shared backstory with Millie Alcock’s Supergirl. He also has a long-standing rivalry with Superman and his allies, hinting at a potentially complicated dynamic with Supergirl in the movie.

The official synopsis for Supergirl reveals, “When an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an epic, interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.”

While it might seem that Lobo is the companion referenced in the synopsis, it’s actually Eve Ridley’s Ruthye Marye Knoll who leads Kara Zor-El into battle against the alien conqueror Krem of the Yellow Hills, played by Matthias Schoenaerts.

Alcock first appeared as Supergirl in 2025’s Superman, making a memorable cameo at the film’s conclusion where she visits Superman’s Fortress of Solitude to retrieve her dog Krypto before heading off to drown her sorrows in alien booze on planets where she loses her powers under a red sun.

Supergirl is set to hit theaters on June 26. In the meantime, keep an eye on all the upcoming DC movies and shows in development.
