Jirachi Joins Pokémon Pokopia for a Special Limited-Time Event

Pokémon Pokopia’s upcoming event has been announced, featuring the much-loved Mythical Pokémon, Jirachi. On June 23, Jirachi will make its debut in the post-apocalyptic Kanto region.

During the Wish Upon a Jirachi event, players will have the chance to collect nighttime-themed furniture and décor items to enhance their Pokémon habitats. To welcome Jirachi, you’ll need to have a rebuilt Pokémon Center in your town, so make sure to get that set up before the event kicks off.

Once Jirachi arrives, chat with it to receive a recipe for wish notes. Complete tasks for the Pokémon in your community to transform those notes into sparkling wish notes, which you can then exchange with Jirachi for exciting rewards.

The Wish Upon a Jirachi event will run until July 8. Keep in mind that sparkling wish notes will only be obtainable during this event, and it’s still uncertain whether Jirachi will stick around after it ends. There’s a possibility that players can create a habitat for Jirachi using event items, allowing the Mythical Pokémon to become a permanent part of their Pokémon Pokopia community, but this has yet to be confirmed.

Pokémon Pokopia launched on March 5 and quickly became a standout title for the Switch 2, earning high praise from players. While some found it a bit grindy, the overall experience remains enjoyable.
