Kim Kardashian Claims She’s a “Decent” Player in Fortnite

Fortnite has teamed up with Kim Kardashian, and in a recent chat, she shared insights about how this collaboration came to life, her skills in the game, and her close work with Epic to realize her vision. In an interview, Kardashian described herself as a “decent” Fortnite player, saying, “I wouldn’t say I’m great, but I wouldn’t say I’m horrible.” She humorously noted that her son, Saint, is “definitely better than I am,” adding, “But, you know, he doesn’t teach me all of his tricks.” Kardashian revealed that her brother introduced her to Fortnite years ago, and while she enjoys playing, she prefers to do so “moderately” because she believes in enjoying things “in moderation.”

She emphasized her collaboration with Epic Games, mentioning that she dedicated an hour each night—10 to 11 PM—to discuss details and ensure everything looked as realistic as possible. Kardashian called Fortnite an “iconic” game and expressed her excitement about joining the ranks of notable figures and brands that have appeared in it. “Just to have seen all of the previous characters and how cute they look, I was really excited to have my own character,” she said.

Previously, she worked with Glu Mobile on the mobile game Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, which concluded in early 2024 after nearly a decade. “I love the gaming space,” she remarked. One of her emotes in Fortnite is titled “Slurp the Internet,” a nod to her famous “Break the Internet” shoot for Paper Magazine, where she posed with a champagne glass on her butt—though in Fortnite, it’s humorously placed on her foot for a better fit. Another emote, “Diamond Drop,” references the time she lost a diamond earring in the ocean while filming Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She joked about being “brutalized” over the incident, adding, “You lose your diamonds in the ocean, and a little boat appears. You’re just sitting, crying wherever you’re at in the game. We got pretty creative with our emotes.”

Additionally, one of her weapons is a purse modeled after the one she famously used to smack Khloé Kardashian, complete with the “same movement that I hit her with,” she noted. Kardashian will make her Fortnite debut on December 13. In other news, Fortnite OG Season 7 is now live.
