Kingdom Come: Deliverance PS5 Port Gains Traction After PlayStation Store Leak
Fresh hints about a PS5 version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance have surfaced, courtesy of a reliable source: a console storefront.
Following the Nintendo eShop’s leak of Capcom’s Disney Afternoon Collection re-release, PlayStation’s European storefront decided to join the fray, catching the attention of the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit. A now-removed description (spotted by an outlet) stated, “The PS5 version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance now features graphical updates including 4K resolution, improved framerate, high-resolution textures, and many more. Medieval Bohemia has never been so beautiful.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard whispers about this update. Last year, following the impressive reception of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, a Twitter user known for reliable leaks mentioned that an updated version was on the horizon. This was further hinted at by a playful nod from the Kingdom Come Twitter account, suggesting something was on the way. However, that was back in August 2025, and since then, there’s been radio silence.
Now, for a bit of wishful thinking—having purchased the original last year in hopes of a free PS5 upgrade to dive into the sequel—I can’t help but think that with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 launching on February 4, 2025, it would be the perfect opportunity for Warhorse to drop a surprise current-gen update to celebrate the one-year anniversary of their Game of the Year-nominated title.
Interestingly, the developers initially considered settings like Robin Hood’s England or medieval Germany but admitted they “knew nothing” about those locales.
