Kingdom Come: Deliverance Set for Long-Awaited Next-Gen Upgrade After Eight Years

A long-anticipated upgrade for Warhorse Studios’ 2018 title, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, appears to have been inadvertently confirmed, as the PlayStation Store now lists details for a “PS5 version.”

This information was first noticed on the PlayStation Store Italia page, but it has since been reflected on the British PlayStation Store listing for Kingdom Come: Deliverance as well.

The updated description indicates that the game will be “Updated for PlayStation 5,” highlighting enhancements such as 4K resolution, improved framerate, high-resolution textures, and more. It proudly states, “Medieval Bohemia has never been so beautiful.”

Additionally, the key art on the PlayStation Store has been altered, replacing the original militia scene with a darker orange background. The opening line has also been refreshed to read: “(Re)discover Henry’s saga, from the start!”

Despite these updates, neither the Italian nor British pages for Kingdom Come: Deliverance have provided a new release date, still showing the original launch date of February 13, 2018, for PlayStation 4.

Interestingly, the “2017 Warhorse Studios” trademark information that remains on the US PlayStation Store has vanished from both the Italian and British listings.

As of now, there has been no official word from the Kingdom Come: Deliverance social media accounts or any announcements regarding the legitimacy of this information. Speculation about a PS5 version has been circulating since July 2025.

So far, these rumors have only pointed to a PS5 upgrade, and there have been no updates on Xbox store pages for Kingdom Come: Deliverance to match this new information.
