KPop Demon Hunters Launches Their First Lego Set in Record Time

Lego’s first set inspired by KPop Demon Hunters has officially launched for pre-order, as announced on Monday. This inaugural set features the Saja Boys’ messengers, Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird, and is set to hit shelves in August.

The KPop Demon Hunters – Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird set consists of 825 Lego bricks, crafted to showcase “key behaviors from the movie for fans to explore,” according to Lego. The set promises “various expressions, dynamic poses, accessories, and adjustable features” to enhance the overall experience.

Lego noted that this KPop Demon Hunters-inspired set was “designed in record time from brief to final model.” With the series debuting on Netflix on June 20, 2025, the swift turnaround is impressive given the design, manufacturing, and approval processes involved. This is just the start of Lego and Netflix’s collaboration on KPop Demon Hunters, with additional sets already in the pipeline for release in 2027.

Derpy can be constructed with two expressions: one showcasing the blue tiger’s quirky grin and another depicting him delivering a note on his outstretched tongue. The set includes two love notes and a flowerpot for Derpy to topple over (or attempt to set upright). There’s also a secret compartment in the back of Derpy’s head for storing accessories. Sussie the magpie can either perch on Derpy’s head or be displayed independently.

The KPop Demon Hunters – Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird set stands at 8.5 inches (21 cm) high, 6 inches (15 cm) long, and 6 inches (15 cm) wide when Sussie is on Derpy’s head.

This first KPop Demon Hunters set is available for pre-order now and will ship on August 1, priced at $69.99.

Since its debut last June, KPop Demon Hunters has racked up over 500 million views on Netflix, while its soundtrack has made waves in the music scene: Huntr/x became the first K-pop girl group to reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, and “Golden” made history as the first K-pop song to win a Grammy Award. Although KPop Demon Hunters has slipped from the U.S. top 10 movies on Netflix, it remains a global sensation, spending 51 consecutive weeks in Netflix’s global Top 10. This week alone, it garnered 3.7 million views and continues to be a top 10 hit in eight countries.

A sequel to KPop Demon Hunters is currently in development, along with a variety of merchandise from toy manufacturers.

Netflix is gearing up for a major celebration of KPop Demon Hunters’ first anniversary, which will include a theatrical rerelease, free outdoor screenings, and the film’s award-winning soundtrack available on vinyl and CD.
