Last Chance to Grab the Free Extraction Shooter from Former Blizzard Developers!
Wildgate, an extraction shooter, is currently available for free at the Epic Games Store, but not for much longer. You have until 11 a.m. EST on Thursday, Jan. 8, to add it to your library.
This PvPvE shooter combines spaceship combat with first-person shooting, developed by Moonshot Games, which boasts a team of former Blizzard talent, including ex-CEO Mike Morhaime.
Wildgate features three distinct modes. In Artifact Brawl, you’ll engage in ship-to-ship combat to grab an artifact and make your escape while competing ships try to do the same. Fleet Battle pits teams of 12 against each other in intense skirmishes. For a slightly more laid-back experience, there’s Treasure Hunt, where the goal is to collect loot before facing destruction—though “laid-back” might be a stretch.
Additionally, you can grab Total War: Three Kingdoms, widely regarded as one of the best entries in the Total War series. Set in 3rd-century China, it delves into the transition from the Han Dynasty to the rise of the Three Kingdoms. The game has been praised for its ability to transform statistical mechanics into a compelling human narrative.
To claim Wildgate and Total War: Three Kingdoms for free, simply log in to the Epic Games Store before the deadline on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 11 a.m. EST.
