Lego’s beloved Legend of Zelda set is being discontinued and is flying off the shelves.

Lego’s 2024 2,500-piece set inspired by The Legend of Zelda’s Deku Tree is nearing its retirement. If you’ve been contemplating a $300 investment in this iconic brick rendition of Nintendo’s beloved talking tree, now’s the time to act: the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 set is nearly sold out, and tracking one down is about to get a lot trickier, especially with the excitement around The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time ramping up.

This Great Deku Tree set pays tribute to both The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, featuring two distinct builds—one reflecting the classic Nintendo 64 title and the other showcasing its groundbreaking open-world sequel available on Nintendo Switch and Wii U. It also comes with minifigures of Link, Young Link, and Princess Zelda.

Currently, both Lego’s official site and the Nintendo Store are out of stock for the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 set, but a few physical Lego stores might still have it available. Retailers like Walmart and Barnes & Noble list the set as in stock, so it’s worth checking your local shops if you have $300 ready to spend.

With a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the horizon and a live-action Zelda movie slated for 2027, interest in Lego Zelda sets is sure to surge. If you’re looking for alternatives, Lego and Nintendo also released The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time— The Final Battle set earlier this year. This 1,003-piece set, priced at $129.99, captures the epic showdown between Link, Zelda, and Ganon in Lego form and is still readily available.

If you’re eager to seek wisdom from a miniature version of the Deku Tree, now is the perfect moment to grab this set. It won’t be around much longer, and it seems Lego has wrapped up production for good.

Recently, Nintendo announced the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time during a major Nintendo Direct showcase. While details about this reimagined adventure remain scarce, more information about Young Link’s journey is expected to surface soon.

Young British actors Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth have been cast.
