Lego’s latest Batmobile set raises the bar for creativity.

Tim Burton-era Batman fans, get ready to celebrate! The Lego Group has just unveiled a Batmobile inspired by Batman Returns, adding yet another iconic vehicle to their lineup. This set isn’t just about looks; it features “six hidden Easter eggs” and comes with an exclusive Batman minifigure.

This latest addition to the LEGO Batman display models brings Tim Burton’s Batmobile to life in brick form for the first time. It boasts authentic details, an innovative transformation feature, and nods to the film, making it a tribute to one of Batman’s most iconic appearances.

The set captures the sleek design, intricate details, and unforgettable transformation sequence of one of cinema’s most famous superhero vehicles. In terms of size, it stands four inches tall, stretches 17 inches long, and is 6.5 inches wide. It will be available to Lego Insiders on September 1, 2026, and to the general public on September 4.

This 2,269-piece set, priced at $229.99, is based on the Caped Crusader’s ride from the Michael Keaton film. One of its standout features is its ability to transform, just like in Batman Returns. A press of a button activates the side panels, converting it into the sleeker Batmissile. The Lego design team has even created three new elements for this set, including a new Batman minifigure cowl. Aimed at adults aged 18 and older, it’s perfect for those nostalgic for the Michael Keaton era. This set follows previous builds like the Arkham Asylum model, rounding out Lego’s extensive collection of Batmobiles, including the bulkier version from Christopher Nolan’s films.

Lego Batman has had a busy year. Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launched in May to positive reviews, scoring 83 on Metacritic and receiving an Overwhelmingly Positive user rating on Steam. This game serves as a spiritual successor to the Batman Arkham series, featuring an open-world design and a similar combat system.

The Dark Knight has also made a comeback on screen with the second season of the animated series Batman: Caped Crusader. Plus, the long-awaited film The Batman: Part 2, a sequel to the 2022 reboot starring Robert Pattinson, has just begun filming in Glasgow and is set to hit theaters on February 18, 2028.

When you see the Bat, it’s already too late.
