Limited Edition Steelbook for It: Welcome to Derry Now Available for Preorder

Season 1 of the It prequel series is set to hit 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD on May 5, 2026. The Limited Edition Steelbook for It: Welcome to Derry flew off the shelves at Amazon, selling out in under an hour, but you can still snag a copy for $40 at Gruv. Walmart is expected to start preorders soon, so if you’re a fan of Stephen King’s work, it’s a good idea to act fast. The Steelbook Editions of the two-part It film adaptation also sold out quickly, and Welcome to Derry marks the first TV series based on a Stephen King novel to be released in 4K Blu-ray format. Currently, the Limited Edition Steelbook is the only way to get the series in 4K. You can stream Welcome to Derry: Season 1 in its entirety on HBO Max, or purchase it on platforms like Amazon Prime Video for $22. The series holds an 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and many long-time fans of King’s iconic horror novel would likely agree that Season 1 is a solid addition. While HBO has not yet confirmed a second season, director Andy Muschietti has plans for a three-season arc. Season 1 explores Pennywise’s terror in 1962, with Season 2 set to flash back 27 years to 1935, and Season 3 taking place in 1908.

The It franchise has also rolled out some exciting official merchandise recently, including new Funko Pops and the quirky Fisher Price Little People Figure Collection. This set, priced at just $12, features figures of Pennywise and Georgie, with Georgie notably missing an arm—though he did get his boat back. There are also adorable Jazwares plushies available, like the 12-inch Atamas Pennywise plush pillow for $18 (down from $23) and the Tubbz Pennywise Duck Plush for $23.70 (originally $25).
