Limited-Time Offer: Switch 2 Donkey Kong and Pauline amiibo Now at Lowest Price Ever

The Donkey Kong and Pauline amiibo has managed to dodge discounts until now. Unlike the Switch 2 figures for Legend of Zelda and Street Fighter 6, this Donkey Kong Bananza NFC collectible has always held its full price. That makes the limited-time deal I found on Amazon particularly enticing.

For a short while, you can snag the Donkey Kong and Pauline amiibo for $19.99, saving $10 off its usual $29.99 price for the first time ever. Unfortunately, you won’t receive this fantastic Switch 2 accessory in time for the holidays, as Amazon has clearly noted it will “arrive after Christmas.” However, if there’s one amiibo I’d suggest grabbing from this year’s releases, it’s definitely this one.

Donkey Kong & Pauline DK Series amiibo | $29.99 $19.99 at Amazon Save $10 – As of now, Amazon US reports that over 52% of the Donkey Kong and Pauline amiibo has already been sold. This charming figure features the delightful songstress perched on DK’s back, just like in the game. You can tap it on your right Joy-Con to unlock Pauline’s diva dress, and its impressive size and intricate details make it a standout piece of Donkey Kong Bananza merchandise for fans.

Even if you haven’t picked up Donkey Kong Bananza for your Nintendo Switch 2 yet, this amiibo is a must-have. It’s one of my favorites among the 900+ figures available, thanks to its sculpt that perfectly captures DK and the adorable Pauline as they appear in the game.

The attention to detail is remarkable, with even Pauline’s tiny freckles and the scrunchie in her hair accurately represented, and not a single paint stroke out of place. One of my favorite features is the texture on DK’s iconic red tie, which stands out beautifully despite its small size compared to DK’s larger frame. Similar to the Twilight Princess amiibo, another favorite of mine, Nintendo has included a rocky base beneath their feet, which feels fitting since I spent much of my time in Bananza navigating the crumbling terrain of various sub-layers.

If you’re a Donkey Kong enthusiast and enjoy collecting DK toys and merchandise, this $19.99 figure is a fantastic addition, even without its NFC functionality. Of course, it also unlocks in-game content if you own a copy of the game (and a Switch 2), including Pauline’s sparkling red Diva dress and some gold ‘KONG’ letters that explode on impact.

With over half of Amazon’s stock for the amiibo already gone, I recommend adding one to your cart quickly to avoid missing out. Remember, all previous Donkey Kong amiibo are compatible with Donkey Kong Bananza if you’re looking for some fun unlocks.
