Limited-Time Star Wars Lego R2-D2 Offer Back on Amazon, Unavailable Elsewhere

One of the hottest Lego Star Wars sets this holiday season is proving to be a tough find. The 1,050-piece R2-D2 figure is currently sold out at major retailers and is backordered on the Lego Store. If you’re eager to grab this iconic droid, Amazon has revived its deal on December 18, offering the set for $80 instead of the usual $100. While Walmart and Target previously had this deal, they are now out of stock unless you can find it at a local store.

This mid-sized model of the beloved droid debuted in March 2024 as part of the Lego Star Wars 25th Anniversary collection, complete with extras like a Knights of the Old Republic minifigure. Check out the features of Lego R2-D2 below. If you’re on the lookout for more Lego Star Wars bargains, consider pairing R2-D2 with his companion C-3PO; the 1,138-piece C-3PO display model is currently priced at $112, down from $140.
