McDonald’s Unveils All-Purple Menu Featuring the Return of the Grimace Shake

In 2023, the Grimace Milkshake made its debut at McDonald’s worldwide. This vibrant purple, berry-flavored treat quickly gained unexpected viral fame, spawning a mix of bizarre, hilarious, and occasionally unsettling short videos. Now, McDonald’s is reviving this notorious shake along with an entire lineup of purple-themed menu items in Germany.

As noted by an outlet on Twitter, McDonald’s Germany has launched a new purple menu inspired by the fast food chain’s mascot, Grimace. Once seen as a villain, Grimace has transformed into a goofy purple character that’s harmless and fun. This new menu includes a rather unique purple BBQ sandwich topped with pink sauce, which raises some eyebrows.

The Grimace menu features a PURPLE BURGER, the Grimace Shake, purple sauce, pie, and mini donuts! It’s a lineup that seems too good to be true for fans in the US, but it’s all happening in Germany.

For a limited time, McDonald’s will offer a purple cream cheese pie, a purple blueberry cake-pop, a purple-berry cream sauce, and the previously mentioned Grimace Shake and purple BBQ burger. While indulging in all of this at once might be tempting, it’s probably best to pace yourself—there’s a lot of food here, and the amount of artificial purple dye is definitely something to consider. It might not be harmful, but your next bathroom visit could be quite the surprise.

Unfortunately, this purple menu isn’t making its way to the United States just yet. It’s a bummer, as trying out this entire menu and sharing the experience would make for some entertaining content.
