Meta Introduces Teleprompter and Virtual Writing Features for Ray-Ban Display Glasses

Meta is enhancing the experience for Ray-Ban Display users by introducing a new way to text directly from their glasses using just the Meta Neural Band, eliminating the need for a phone or keyboard. This innovative EMG handwriting feature, revealed during CES, enables users to write on any surface instead of typing. It’s currently being rolled out as an early access feature in messaging apps.

In addition, Ray-Ban Display users will soon have access to a teleprompter feature that allows them to transfer notes from their phone into customizable text cards that can be viewed on their glasses. Users can navigate through these cards using the neural band. This feature is set to begin its phased rollout this week.

Moreover, the Pedestrian Navigation feature is expanding its reach, now supporting four new cities: Denver, Las Vegas, Portland, and Salt Lake City. This beta feature provides walking directions directly from the glasses, although it is still limited to a select number of cities.
