Meta Quest 3S VR Headset Now Available for $250 with a $50 Gift Card Bonus

The Meta Quest 3S 128GB model is back at its Black Friday price, making it an excellent time to grab this entry-level VR headset for just $250 (down from $300). Plus, you’ll receive a $50 Amazon credit for future purchases. To claim the credit, just click “redeem” on the store page or use promo code QUEST3S50 at checkout. This specific 128GB version is exclusive to Amazon and includes in-game content for the popular multiplayer title, Gorilla Tag.

If you’re looking for something more robust, consider the Meta Quest 3S 256GB Batman Bundle for $349 (originally $400). This bundle features Batman: Arkham Shadow (a $50 value) and also includes a $49 Amazon credit. Amazon is matching Best Buy’s pricing on these deals, although Best Buy’s 128GB bundle comes with The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners (valued at $20). Additionally, Amazon is offering a $50 credit with the purchase of the higher-end Meta Quest 3, while the PlayStation VR 2 for PS5 and PC is available for $299 (down from $400) until December 18.

The Quest 3S is a lightweight, standalone VR headset that includes two wireless Touch Plus controllers. It’s capable of running a wide array of impressive VR games directly on its internal hardware, featuring standout titles like Batman: Arkham Shadow, Asgard’s Wrath 2, and Assassin’s Creed Nexus. For more demanding games like Half Life: Alyx, the Quest 3S can connect wirelessly to a gaming PC or via a compatible link cable. You can also cloud stream games and use the headset as a wearable projector for movies and TV shows.

This entry-level headset is a modified version of the more powerful Quest 3. Both models are equipped with 8GB of RAM and utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 chipset, marking a significant upgrade from the Quest 2. Aside from storage differences—where the Quest 3 boasts 512GB—the internal components are identical. Both versions come with the wireless Touch Plus controllers as well. The Quest 3 features more advanced lenses, providing a larger and clearer image, but the Quest 3S still delivers impressive visuals and slightly better battery life at 2.5 hours.
