I’ve amassed over 100 amiibo figures, but the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Tulin has quickly become a standout favorite. Thanks to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, I’ve been able to invite the charming Rito sage to my island since the Version 3.0 update, where he’s made himself right at home.
If you’re diving into Animal Crossing: New Horizons and want Tulin as a villager, you can snag the amiibo for just $19.99 at a popular retailer, saving you $10 off its regular price of $29.99. While it’s not the record low price we saw during last year’s Black Friday, it’s still a solid deal, especially since that’s $10 you can use for more amiibo.
Tulin The Legend of Zelda Series amiibo | $29.99 $19.99 at a popular retailer Save $10 – The Tears of the Kingdom amiibo is back down to $19.99 today, giving you a $10 discount off its full price. While it’s still $10 shy of its lowest price ever, it’s a fantastic deal for any Zelda fan returning to Animal Crossing: New Horizons this year.
UK: £16.99 at Nintendo UK
Adding Tulin to your New Horizons island is just like inviting any other villager, but you’ll need the amiibo to do it. Once it arrives at your doorstep after taking advantage of this deal, boot up Animal Crossing on your Switch and head to the Resident Services building.
Once there, approach the Nook Stop machine, select ‘invite a camper,’ and tap the Tulin amiibo on the right stick of your Switch Joy-Con. Tulin will then show up at your campsite, and you’ll just need to fulfill his furniture requests a couple of times (you’ll need to invite him twice) and ensure you have an empty villager slot on your island.
Inviting Tulin once will also unlock all the Legend of Zelda items available for decorating your island and home through the Nook Shopping menu at the Nook Stop. I’ve even set up a room dedicated to Zelda, complete with a chilling replica of a dismantled guardian that lights up when you interact with it.
And remember, if Animal Crossing isn’t your thing, you can also use Tulin to unlock weapons and resources in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Plus, you’re not limited to just Tulin; all the Zelda amiibo figures have a chance to unlock Tulin or Mineru for your island. Check out my handy guide for New Horizons amiibo to see which figures you can use.
