Narwal’s Flow 2 Robovac Could Help You Locate Your Lost Earring
Narwal has unveiled the next generation of its edge-mopping Flow robovac, and it comes with a sleek new design and an innovative cleaning mode. This mode allows the robovac to scan your floors and identify valuable items you might have dropped, such as jewelry, your phone, keys, or a wallet. When the Flow 2 spots one of these objects, it maintains a safe distance of at least 5cm to avoid accidentally vacuuming it up.
Additionally, the robovac sends a notification to the Narwal app, complete with a photo of the item and its location on a map of your home. Thanks to its advanced AI system, the Flow 2 boasts “unlimited” object recognition capabilities, utilizing dual RGB cameras that capture a 136-degree field of view. While this feature is impressive, it doesn’t allow you to send the Flow 2 on a specific search mission for an item.
The Flow 2 also introduces specialized cleaning modes tailored for households with pets and children. It can remind you when toys are left out, steer clear of crawling mats, and switch to a quiet mode when near a baby’s crib. Plus, it can help locate your pet while you’re away and deep-clean the areas where your furry friend spends the most time.
In addition to these exciting features, the Narwal Flow 2 boasts several upgrades, including a powerful suction capability of up to 30,000Pa, an increase from the original model’s 22,000Pa, and hot water mopping at 158°F. Like its predecessor, the Flow 2 offers two types of docking stations: one with just a water tank and another that includes automatic refill and draining functions. The key difference is that the Flow 2’s docking stations now come equipped with a reusable dust bag, along with a washable and disposable debris filter.
The Flow 2 is set to launch in April 2026, but pricing details are still under wraps.
