Netflix Appears to Debunk Stranger Things’ Conformity Gate Theory in 2026 Trailer Featuring One Piece Season 2, New Bridgerton, and Enola Holmes 3

Well, gamers, it looks like January 7 didn’t bring us a surprise episode of Stranger Things on Netflix (sorry, conspiracy theorists). However, it turns out the theorists were onto something, as the streaming service did have a big reveal that day: a trailer showcasing the thrilling titles set to drop in 2026.

In the four-minute teaser, which you can check out above, a fortune teller (played by Teyana Taylor, known for her role in One Battle After Another) predicts the future for a young woman who stumbles into her “office.”

“I’ve been expecting you,” she starts. “I know you’re wondering, ‘What’s next?’ This year, I see love on your horizon…” The young woman then finds herself in a ballroom, landing in the arms of Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton.

From there, she encounters characters from various worlds, including Luffy from One Piece, the lead from Emily in Paris, Dante from Devil May Cry, and the crafty Lupin.

In a moment that feels like a nod to the conspiracy theories, she meets Enola Holmes (played by Millie Bobby Brown from Stranger Things), as Taylor’s character says in a voiceover: “This year, you’ll question everything.” “Everything?!” Enola retorts, looking directly at the camera. Nice one, Netflix…

Another intriguing part of the teaser shows the young woman being thrown from a window of a Regency Era castle, plummeting through the sky. “Your chariot awaits,” Taylor whispers, as Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender waves at her from flying on Appa.

“Nah, not yet,” Taylor adds, blowing away the tarot card linked to the anime adaptation on her desk. Does this hint that we won’t see Avatar: The Last Airbender season 2 until much later in 2026? Only time will tell.
