New Diablo Series Announced for Netflix by Blizzard

Blizzard Entertainment is set to broaden its horizons beyond gaming. During the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2026, Blizzard president Johanna Faries revealed an exciting collaboration with Netflix to bring the Diablo universe to the streaming platform. An animated series based on the iconic demon-slaying franchise is on the way.

But that’s just the start. Faries hinted at plans to adapt additional franchises, suggesting that the Diablo series is merely the first step in a larger initiative.
