New Sims 4 Mod Combines All Worlds into One Map

The Sims 4 has seen a variety of free updates that have enhanced the gameplay experience, yet there are still areas that could use some attention from the developers. One notable example is the world selection screen, which currently presents over 30 worlds in a rather dull menu format, making them feel isolated and uninviting. To address this, modder SimMattically took the initiative to enhance the world selection experience by developing the Immersive Map Mod, which consolidates all worlds into a single expansive map.

This mod transforms The Sims 4 into a more unified and immersive environment, reflecting the real-life inspirations behind many of the worlds. Collaborating with illustrator and graphic designer Edkisn, SimMattically crafted a world map that aligns perfectly with the Maxis aesthetic, avoiding the jarring feel of some hyperrealistic mods. The artist skillfully integrated the various worlds, positioning them in regions that correspond to their real-world counterparts.

The mod is compatible with the base game as well as all of The Sims 4’s expansion packs, and it even supports custom content maps. Players have the option to display tooltips with the world’s name and description, and they can also activate cloud animations for added realism.

Installation is straightforward, as this is a single-file mod; players simply need to drag the package file into The Sims 4 Mods folder. Currently, the mod is in early access, requiring fans to subscribe to SimMattically’s Patreon for $5 to gain access. Those who prefer to wait for the full release will have to be patient, as the creator aims to make their mods publicly available within a month or two.

Exciting upgrades are also on the way for Create-a-Sim and Build Mode with these new additions!
