New Trailer and Images Unveiled for Pokémon Horizons: Season 3 – Rising Hope Returns!

As the franchise marks its 30th anniversary, The Pokémon Company International has revealed the Netflix release date for part two of the animated series Pokémon Horizons: Season 3 — Rising Hope. An exclusive trailer showcases Liko, Roy, and their friends back in action aboard their airship/base, the Brave Olivine.

The Rising Volt Tacklers continue their adventure to uncover the mysteries of Laquium, forming new bonds with Pokémon and enhancing their skills. Throughout their journey, Liko, Roy, and Dot delve deeper into the story of their fiery new companion, Ult, whose quest to connect with the mysterious Pokémon inside his Dusk Ball propels the team forward. Despite facing off against their rivals, the Explorers, there are still plenty of heartfelt moments, like the one in the trailer where Kuwassu, Gimmighoul, and Quaquaval watch their friends and Gholdengo surf in the sea, longing to join in. When they finally do, Kuwassu discovers that Gimmighoul is trying to collect coins to evolve into a Gholdengo so he can surf as well.

Exclusive images also highlight several characters from the anime. One shows the entire team gathered in a room with their partner Pokémon, featuring Liko with Meowscarada, Ult with Sableye, Kuwassu with Quaquaval, and Friede alongside Captain Pikachu. Another striking image depicts Charcadet riding on Terapagos, while additional visuals feature Iono with Bellibolt, Kuwassu holding a Tera Orb, and Amethio accompanied by Armarouge and Corviknight.

Pokémon’s 30th anniversary is on February 27, and celebrations are already underway, including a live-action Super Bowl ad featuring various celebrities sharing their favorite Pokémon. With new games, fresh Lego sets, and the anime’s return, there’s a lot happening in the Pokémon universe right now.

Pokémon: Horizons — Part 2 is set to premiere on Netflix on March 20.
