Nintendo to Conclude Switch Game Voucher Program This Month
Nintendo is set to end the Switch Game Vouchers program, which offered Nintendo Switch Online members a way to snag discounts on first-party titles by purchasing two vouchers for $100. While current vouchers will still be honored, no new ones will be available after January 30, 2026. With limited discounts on first-party games, these vouchers provided a chance to save a bit, allowing players to get $10 off each game when buying two $60 titles. Although the program had some restrictions, like a one-year expiration and the need for an active Nintendo Switch Online membership, it was a solid way to save on first-party games. If you want to make the most of this offer, be sure to purchase your vouchers before the end of January, as they will remain valid for one year from the purchase date. You can also check the expiration date of any unused vouchers in the Nintendo Switch Online section of your account. The program began winding down with the release of the Switch 2, which means vouchers won’t be usable for any exclusives on the new console, coinciding with the launch of the first $80 game, Mario Kart World. As of now, Nintendo hasn’t announced any new discount options for Switch Online members, so if you have your eye on any Switch games, grab those vouchers before the deadline.
