October Offers Amazon Prime Members Free Access to 10 Games
Amazon Prime is currently running an exciting sale, but that’s not all—PC gamers can also grab some free games with their Prime membership. Each month, members receive two sets of games: one set to keep and another set available for streaming through the cloud gaming service, Luna. The Luna library features some impressive titles, including Control, Death Stranding, and the newly added Star Wars: Galactic Racer.
This October, Doom (2016) takes center stage among a selection of 10 free games available to Amazon Prime members. This reboot of the iconic first-person shooter series is often hailed as one of the best in the franchise. Players can expect to unleash chaos on hordes of demons using a variety of devastating weapons, including the classic shotgun and the infamous BFG 9000. Additionally, the original two Doom games and Doom Eternal are also available for free for a limited time.
In contrast to Sony’s PlayStation Plus offerings, which require an active subscription to play, Amazon’s free games come through redeemable codes from various PC gaming platforms like the Epic Games Store and GOG. This means you’ll retain access to these games even if your Amazon Prime membership lapses.
Here’s what’s new to claim this month:
A new Star Wars title isn’t the only exciting addition to the Luna library. Sonic X Shadow Generations is now playable on Luna Standard, featuring a remaster of Sonic Generations that includes both 2D and 3D levels, along with a fresh adventure starring Shadow. Also making its debut on Luna Standard is Space Metal Mania, an arcade shooter packed with heavy metal action.
Amazon Prime members can visit Luna to claim their free games and dive into the latest offerings on Luna Standard.
