Overwatch Season 3 Introduces Cat Cafe Skins and a Vibrant Tokyo Theme

Overwatch Season 3 kicks off on Tuesday, introducing a new Damage hero named Shion and a fresh Hybrid map called Neon Junction. This season will also roll out a new battle pass packed with exciting content, including skins inspired by the vibrant Tokyo setting. Among the new cosmetics are cat cafe-themed outfits and stylish “street rebel” designs. Additionally, there’s a collaboration with the Japanese musical duo Yaosobi, bringing colorful streetwear looks for Kiriko, Genji, and Hanzo.

Fans can look forward to a variety of cosmetics in Season 3, titled Into the Tiger’s Den. The battle pass features a blend of Japanese-inspired skins alongside outfits perfect for the Summer Games. Notable additions include Freja’s new Midsommar skin and the first Legendary skin for the formidable Shion. Confirmed Legendary and Epic skins for this season will be available for Freja, Genji, Shion, Lúcio, Cassidy, Sombra, and Junkrat.

Hanzo will receive a Mythic weapon skin this season, giving his bow a striking purple and blue glow, complete with stunning dragon effects. Illari is also getting a Mythic hero skin that enhances her fiery aesthetic.

In a fun twist, Sierra, Ashe (and BOB), Orisa, Reaper, and Kiriko will be working at the cat cafe this season, sporting maid-themed skins. Reaper will don a luxurious kitty-themed suit, while BOB will sport some oversized paws.

Mizuki, Mercy, Jetpack Cat, Wuyang, and Junker Queen will channel the spirit of Tokyo’s rebellious youth with a street rebels theme. Unfortunately, Street Rebel Junker Queen has already taken a chunk of my Overwatch Coins.

For those who enjoy a bit of magic, Tracer, Zenyatta, Reinhardt, Lifeweaver, and Venture are ready to dazzle with their new spellcaster skins this season. However, you won’t be joining their exclusive play group—sorry about that.
