Own the First Mortal Kombat Movie for Free—Just Use Bing!

To mark the release of Mortal Kombat 2 in theaters, a special offer is on the table: you can snag a free digital copy of the 2021 Mortal Kombat film. The catch? You’ll need to use Bing for a full week to qualify.

This promotion revolves around the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie and is part of a Microsoft Rewards initiative. By completing a “punch card” of tasks related to the Mortal Kombat franchise, you can earn your free movie. Here’s what you need to do to claim your copy:

The first five tasks are straightforward and can be completed quickly by clicking links on the promotional page. However, the Bing searches are where it gets tricky, as you’ll need to wait 24 hours between searches for them to count.

Let’s be honest—Bing isn’t the most popular search engine. I hadn’t used it in ages before diving into this offer for the free movie. Fortunately, you have until June 30 to take advantage of this promotion, so there’s still time.

If you can tolerate using a less-than-favored search engine, this is an easy way to grab an entertaining action flick. I personally enjoy the new Mortal Kombat films for their campy charm and their commitment to delivering the over-the-top action and memorable fatalities that fans expect from the franchise.

For those who aren’t keen on owning the movie but want to catch it before the sequel hits theaters, it’s also available for streaming on HBO Max.
