Peacock to Increase Subscription Prices by Up to $3

Peacock is once again increasing its streaming plan prices, with the most affordable ad-supported Select tier rising from $7.99 to $8.99 per month. The Premium plan with ads will see a jump from $10.99 to $12.99 per month, while the ad-free Premium Plus plan is experiencing the largest increase, going from $16.99 to $19.99 per month.

These changes will take effect on August 18th for new or returning subscribers and will also impact annual plans. Current subscribers will notice the new pricing on their next billing date on or after September 17th. Over the past few years, Peacock has consistently raised its prices, with a notable $3 increase occurring in July 2025.

According to its support page, Peacock states that the price adjustments are necessary to “create the best experience for its viewers, remain competitive in the marketplace, and deliver unique content across all genres.” The service has introduced new features to attract subscribers, such as vertical video for NBA streams, a “Bravoverse” feed featuring clips from shows like Love Island, and mobile games. Additionally, it is testing benefits for long-term subscribers and will soon be part of a YouTube Premium subscription.

NBCUniversal, the parent company of Peacock, recently announced that the streaming service has turned a profit for the first time, reaching 48 million subscribers. Both Peacock and NBCUniversal are gearing up for a split from Comcast next year.
