Persona 4 Revival to Feature Golden Content and Arrive This Spring
Have you ever been so immersed in a video game that you wished you could jump right into its world? Persona 4 Revival is just the game to make that dream a reality. Set in a quaint Japanese town during the early 2000s, this beloved RPG from Atlus follows a group of high school friends as they hunt down a serial killer. Although the remake was first announced last June, details have been scarce until now. A new trailer unveiled during the Xbox Games Showcase has confirmed that Persona 4 Revival will be released on February 18, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
The Persona series is celebrated for its stylish aesthetics, unforgettable characters, and incredible soundtrack, and the original Persona 4 exemplified all of these qualities. The latest footage showcases a stunning visual upgrade, featuring scenes of the protagonist exploring Inaba, belting out karaoke with Yosuke, and spending time with Marie. (The inclusion of Marie hints at the expanded content from Persona 4 Golden—exciting news!) We even catch a glimpse of Chie in her dungeon boss form.
In Persona 4, you take on the role of a new transfer student who has just moved to the rural town of Inaba. You’ll be staying with your uncle Dojima, a tough detective, and his charming niece Nanako. As you build friendships with your classmates, a series of murders unfolds, linked to a mysterious TV show that only airs late at night on rainy days. To unravel the mystery, you’ll need to juggle school life and social interactions while diving into intricately themed dungeon crawls.
Persona 4 Revival is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X on February 18, 2027.
The Midnight Channel’s arrival on PC has certainly been worth the wait.
