Philips Hue smart lights and more now available at over 20% off!
Woot is running a one-day sale on a variety of tech, featuring both new and open-box Philips Hue smart lighting options. Today, you can snag even deeper discounts by using the code SAVETWENTY at checkout until midnight Central Time. This sale is perfect for anyone looking to dip their toes into smart lighting or expand their existing setup.
To kick things off, the Philips Hue Bridge Gen 2 is available for just $25.60 with the code, a significant drop from its usual price of $65.99. This device is essential for managing certain Philips Hue products. For example, you’ll need it to set up the Play HDMI Sync Box 8K, which is priced at $212 with the code, down from $384.99. This box allows you to sync your Hue lights with whatever is playing on your TV. While some Hue devices can connect via Bluetooth, a Bridge is necessary if you plan to add more than 10 lights or want remote control capabilities.
Other notable deals include:
* The first-gen Amazon Kindle Scribe is also eligible for a 20 percent discount until midnight Central Time at Woot. Refurbished models of the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB versions start at $159, $176, and $199, respectively, when you use the code KINDLE20 at checkout. The differences between this model and the newer version released last year, which starts at $499, may matter depending on your preferences. The older model features a thicker bezel on the left side and a smaller 10.2-inch screen compared to the 11-inch display of the latest version. The discounted Kindle Scribe comes with a Premium Pen stylus for writing and drawing.
* GameStop has new copies of the Super Mario RPG remake for Nintendo Switch for just $15. This price also applies to another first-party Nintendo Switch RPG, Mario & Luigi: Brothership. These titles are at their lowest prices yet, and you won’t find these deals at other retailers. Additionally, there are other games available for $15 each, including Diablo 4, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.
* If you’re torn between needing a USB-C power bank or a wall adapter, Amazon has a great combo deal. Iniu’s 10,000mAh power bank with fold-out outlet prongs is just $18.35 (down from $39.99) when you add the black model to your cart. This power bank can deliver up to 45W through its built-in USB-C cable or its additional USB-C port (plus it has a USB-A port). While plugged into the wall, it reduces output speed to 30W, which is still a solid option for many phones, tablets, and some laptops.
