Philips Hue Sync Box 8K Now Available at 30% Discount

The Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box 8K is an awesome addition for anyone looking to enhance their movie nights or gaming sessions with dynamic lighting. It syncs your Hue lights to match the colors on your TV, and right now, it’s available at a fantastic discount. You can grab it for $269.49 from the Philips Hue store, which is a solid $115 off the usual price found at most retailers. This deal is part of the ongoing “Bright Days” sale, featuring discounts on various lighting products.

This sync box acts as an HDMI hub, accommodating up to four devices like gaming consoles, PCs, and streaming gadgets. It supports up to 8K passthrough at 60Hz or 4K at a higher 120Hz refresh rate, along with HDR10 Plus and Dolby Vision HDR passthrough, plus immersive Dolby Atmos audio.

Keep in mind that the Sync Box requires a Philips Hue Bridge to connect with other Hue lights, including gradient light strips that can be placed behind your TV. If you don’t already have a Bridge, the standalone model usually costs around $65. However, I recommend checking out the discounted bundle on Philips Hue’s site, which includes both the Sync Box and the Bridge for $301.93, effectively cutting the cost of the Bridge in half.

This is a great way to expand your collection without breaking the bank.

The black version with subtle neon green accents and a beamforming mic is currently priced at $37.49 on Amazon, marking a $43 discount and the lowest price this year. This headset was a favorite of mine since its release in 2021, and it works well with both PC and PS5 via its 2.4GHz USB-A dongle. It also supports Bluetooth and features a button for easy switching between wireless modes.

* Baseus’s AM52 is a sleek, 10,000mAh MagSafe battery that boasts 25W wireless charging speeds for the iPhone 16 and newer models. It’s currently listed at $59.99 (down from $79.99) for Prime members on Amazon, but users on Slickdeals have shared a promo code (BASEUSAM52) that brings the price down to $39.29. While it doesn’t come with a built-in USB-C cable, it can deliver up to 45W when paired with one. Its capacity may not be ideal for charging gaming handhelds or laptops, but it’s perfect for a quick power boost when needed.
